485 Years Old! Antique Famous Swordsmith Norimitsu 長船則光 . It is said that Norimitsu lived in Bizen province, and Osafune was one of the most prestigious schools in the Bishu area during the Muromachi period (Early 14th-Early 16th century). The swordsmiths who belonged to the Osafune school in Bizen produced many swords during the Muromachi period because Japan was in the middle of the Sengoku period(Warring state period).
