From the Edo period Japan dated from 1603-1868. Samurai period. Registered certificate from Japanese Govt showing authentic nihonto( antique Japanese sword). Beautiful, razor sharp blade with tight grain pattern showing a well made forged blade and wavy temper line. Green silk hand wrap over samegawa( ray skin). Rare copper tsuba with pine tree motif. Most are made of iron. Saya has age appropriate dents due to being several hundred years old. I lowered price so someone can have a beautiful authentic Samurai blade.
